Mariana Basilio, Dr. Fabio Rosa, Dr. Neil Mitchell (BEnviro, A Babbage Company) and Amy Bazeley (DuneScape Ltd) recently supported the Piroa Conservation Trust (PCT) in developing a Catchment Action Plan to deliver solutions and a direction for the community group towards an integrated catchment management approach that will help achieve their objectives. As part of this, BEnviro undertook desktop research and a site visit.
The
final report recommends several site-specific next steps for improving water quality and biodiversity value. BEnviro also produced an interactive story map of the Bream Bay Action Plan which is available here, otherwise you can read the full report here. (PDF, 4.60 MB)
